How do STEPPER Youth and Kids Lenses work?

The normal single vision lens provides clear and focused vision at the centre of the retina. However, the object tends to fall behind the retina, across our visual field. STEPPER SmartKids lens responds to this by bringing the side object to, or in front of, the retina, to promote the slowdown of the eyeball's elongation.
